HOW DO I DETERMINE IF MY STATION NEEDS TO BE HARDWIRED?

A hardwired charging station can be installed either indoors or outdoors. However it is always recommended to hardwire any outdoor installations. A hardwired installation provides more installation flexibility than the 240V supply plug. They are especially recommended for Level 2 charging stations that continuously use power where hardwiring will provide the best connection.
